DAY 2
BEIJING
  • Forbidden City - also known as the Imperial Palace, served as the imperial palace for 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Located at the heart of Beijing's central axis, it is the largest existing complex of ancient wooden structures in the world and the epitome of Chinese imperial palace architecture. It was inscribed on the list of World Cultural Heritage in 1987.
  • Temple of Heaven- an important altar used by emperors in the Qing and Ming dynasties to pray for fair weather and good harvest. The Echo Wall - encloses the Imperial Vault. Two people can hear each other from even 100 meters far from each other when they stay very closed to the Echo Wall.
  • Golden Face Dynasty- a Show performance
  • Wangfujing Street - is a renowned shopping destination known for its diverse range of goods and vibrant atmosphere

BEIJING
  • Juyongguan Great Wall - is a crucial pass of the Great Wall of China. It is renowned for its strategic location amidst overlapping mountains and lush scenery, earning the title "the number one pass in the world" in ancient times due to its steep terrain. It was first built in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and features a variety of architectural styles.
  • Summer Palace - It is China’s most well-kept and largest ancient garden, and it is one of the “must visit” of Beijing. (include the berry cruise of Kunming Lake)

Note: The cruise tour along the Kunming Lake will be replaced by Yuanmingyuan if it’s closed.
